God wants to speak to His people

We believe that God has a lot to say to His people, especially in these times.  He speaks to us through the Holy Spirit utilizing His Word to teach us what is true and good.  He uses His Word to correct us when we are wrong and guides us to do what is right.  His Word provides the answers to all the questions, decisions, circumstances and issues in life.  We have titled the Study "Establishing a Heart for God because that is exactly what will happen as you dig deeper into His Word.

GOAL OF THE STUDY

The goal of the study is to  to develop a close relationship with God and experience His presence through daily Scripture reading, prayer, journaling and weekly fellowship.  Inductive study habits are developed and encouraged on an individual basis as God-thru the Holy Spirit begins to speak to you about the individual aspects of your life.  Daily reading of the Scriptures and journaling of the unique application of the day's reading to your life situation will open your ears to hear God's "still small voice".

WEEKLY FELLOWSHIP

The Bible throughout encourages believers to seek fellowship with other believers.  This is how "iron sharpens iron" and we edify and encourage one another.  We strongly suggest that you seek a weekly group setting where the weeks study material can be reviewed and discussed.  

OUR AUDIENCE

Devoted to the King studies can be utilized by anyone who can read.  We have found that youngsters as young as 5-6 can develop a zest for studying God's Word and we have had members in groups well into their senior years.  Essentially anyone who wants to draw closer to God and understand who He is will benefit from reading their Bible and doing these studies.
